Images Cinema has been in operation for over a century, but the landscape of moviegoing has changed significantly during that time. The independent, single-screen cinema, which opened in 1916, curates its films to match shifting trends in the film industry.

The WTP works with two immigrant centers: the Berkshire Immigrant Center in Pittsfield and the Center for New Americans (CNA) in Northampton. These centers send the WTP legal documents like birth certificates and marriage certificates to translate. The documents are from clients trying to become American citizens.

On-campus fall enrollment lowers to 1,455

According to Dean of the College Marlene Sandstrom, the number of students currently residing on campus is approximately 1,455. That number is down from July, when enrollment data from the College administration showed that an estimated 1,645 students would return to campus for the 2020 fall semester. Students were asked to submit an intent-to-enroll form by July 10, which included a section to indicate remote or on-campus enrollment.
