Wednesday 9-13-00

12:01a.m. Noise complaint from Berkshire Quad concerning group outside in Quad. Students playing football in the rain. Advised of the complaint.

1:00 a.m. Noise complaint from grass area East of Gladden. Just students playing in the rain. Advised of complaint.

10:15 a.m. Stolen Bike reported from Gladden B entry.

11:45 a.m. Report from Mt. Hope Farm of theft of parts from a gas generator.

3:40 p.m. Professor reports possible car damage while parked in west bay of G lot.

5:22 p.m. Water leak reported from Greylock Dining. Plumber paged in.

Thursday 9-14-00

11:37 a.m. Fire alarm from Bryant. Caused by contractor sanding.

4:34 p.m. Intrusion alarm from Chaffee Tennis. No apparent cause. Building was armed but not properly secured.

4:20 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. Several complaints of two non-student males in the dorms approaching students selling magazine subscriptions. They were identified and told to leave campus. They were not authorized to solicit on campus and had been gaining access by “tagging along” through the card access doors. Students are reminded to not let people they do not know into the dorms.

4:40 p.m. Intrusion alarm from Baxter Mailroom. Caused by staff.

10:07 p.m. Fire alarm from Poker Flats. Smoke detector activated in C-Entry Common Room. No apparent cause.

Friday 9-15-00

1:15 a.m. Noise complaint from Hoxsey St. concerning noise from area around Milham. Noise was from approximately 20 students singing, dancing and yelling while walking down Hoxsey from Walden St. towards Greylock Quad.

1:33 a.m. Noise complaint for Carter. Loud music was turned down.

Saturday 9-16-00

2:30 p.m. Broken window in Gladden G5. Carpenter paged in.

3:22 p.m. Fire alarm from Dodd. First floor detector activated. No apparent cause.

3:25 p.m. Fire alarm from Dodd. Same detector. No apparent cause. Fire Safety electrician paged.

5:34 p.m. Intrusion alarm from Cole Field House. Parent identified who walked into an unlocked door looking for his athlete son.

10:20 p.m. Noise complaint from Prospect. Music was turned down.

11:40 p.m. Illegal party in Garfield with very large group of first-year students drinking. Party was dispersed.

Sunday 9-17-00

2:15 p.m. Call from Greenfield Police concerning the occupants of a Williams College station wagon observed stealing flags in Greenfield. Under investigation.

4:04 p.m. Environmental alarm from Morley Science Lab. Steamfitter paged in.
