1:10 a.m. Propped door alarm from Doughty. Officer spoke with student. All okay.

3:09 p.m. Call to speak with Custodial Supervisor concerning evidence of recent use of a BB gun on campus near Dodd House.

5:43 p.m. Intrusion from Baxter door next to Record office. Everything found secure.

11:23 p.m. Loud vibration reported in West College. Radiators were possible cause. Steamfitters advised to check.

Wednesday 5-3-00

12:37 a.m. Noise complaint from West College. Loud noises coming from a custodial closet. Possibly caused by plumbing. B&G advised.

11:00 a.m. Mountain Bike reported stolen from area of 63 Park St.

7:55 p.m. Ethernet card reported stolen from Sage C.

9:30 p.m. High heat complaint from Mission Park East. Officer verified and steamfitter was paged.

Friday 5-5-00

12:12 a.m. WPD reported receiving a 911 call and hang-up from 34 Spring St., address of Chandler Gym. Gym checked thoroughly and no problem found.

10:30 a.m. Officer found a bike in Cemetery Circle and brought to Doughty garage. Owner was identified and notified.

12:15 p.m. Fire alarm from the College Museum. Fire Safety electricians also responded.

11:05 p.m. Flying rodent removed from Fayerweather 3.

Saturday 5-6-00

12:25 a.m. Noise compliant from Lehman. People outside with radio playing advised of complaint. No further complaints.

12:55 a.m. People breaking bottles in upper Mission lot reported over an emergency phone. Officer investigated.

1:54 a.m. Noise complaint from Sage. Music was being blasted from Williams A. Officer spoke with student responsible for music.

2:16 a.m. Noise complaint from oustside West College. All quiet upon officer’s arrival.

2:55 p.m. Two small charcoal grills reported missing from the porch of Hubbell House.

4:05 p.m. Call to Weston Field concerning a disturbing group of spectators at the baseball game.

7:26 p.m. Disturbance complaint received concerning food fight and inappropriate behavior of some students in Baxter South Dining Hall during dinner.

7:48 p.m. Call to assist the Nurse at the Health Center concerning an unruly student.

8:19 p.m. Welfare check of a student in response to request from concerned friends and co-residents.

9:16 p.m. Report of broken glass in front of Sage A. Officer and a student cleaned it up.

9:53 p.m. Broken glass display case reported at Armstrong Main floor. A carpenter was paged in to cover the display case until permanent repair can be made.

Sunday 5-7-00

12:38 a.m. Medical assistance for two students in Purple Pub parking lot. Village ambulance responded as well and transported to NARH Emergency Room.

12:59 a.m. Student with shoulder injury picked up and transported to NARH.

1:42 a.m. Two more students transported to NARH.

2:35 a.m. Amherst College student stopped and identified while found carrying a vandalized college sign in the crosswalk in front of Hopkins Hall.

2:46 a.m. Car reported vandalized in First Congregational Church lot.

3:05 a.m. Fire alarm from Mission Park. Caused by pull station. Nobody knew who pulled the station.

12:58 p.m. Noise complaint from Weston Field. Officer spoke with a person with a car stereo being played very loud.

7:25 p.m. Theft of stereo equipment reported from Chadbourne.

11:00 p.m. Noise complaint from Currier. All quiet except a few students talking loudly outside Prospect. Officer spoke with students. No further complaints.
