8:57 p.m. Deer hide theft reported from Spencer Studio Art Building.

9:31 p.m. Possible jewelry theft reported in Sage. Under investigation.

11:43 p.m. No heat in Agard 11. Problem verified and steamfitter paged.

Tuesday, November 3

1:16 a.m. Loud music complaint from Morgan East. Officer spoke with residents.

8:06 a.m. Fire alarm from Sage. No apparent reason. Fire Safety also on site-checking possible faulty detector.

8:25 a.m. Motor scooter observed committing several driving violations in the Berkshire Quad. Owner identified.

10:10 a.m. Same motor scooter observed driving on sidewalks off Hoxsey St. and area of Spencer, Brooks and Weston.

6:40 p.m. No hot water at Cole Field House. Steamfitter paged and advised the officer on how to reset one of the hot water heaters.

Wednesday, November 4

12:51 a.m. No power in outlets in Pratt. Breaker reset.

1:00 a.m. Rodent in Hubbell. Could not be apprehended. Message left for Pest Control.

1:55 a.m. Received a report of an unattended hair dryer running inside a locked room in Pratt and resident not present. Dryer shut off and resident returned while officer still there. Determined that dryer had switched on after falling off a hook.

1:56 p.m. Intrusion alarm from Taconic Golf Club House. Caused by staff.

2:00 p.m. Deer hide reported missing from Spencer Art reported returned. Borrowed for Halloween.

4:50 p.m. Alarm from Weston A/V Room. Problem determined to be in alarm communication to Security Office.

7:30 p.m. Alarm from the women’s locker room at the pool. An emergency switch in the disabled accessible stall had been activated. No problem found. Reset.

7:40 p.m. Panic alarm from Physics 3rd floor. Student pushed the button in attempt to see what the button was. It is a panic alarm into Security for emergency assist.

Thursday, November 5

12:32 a.m. Unidentified alarm in Morgan MW reported. Officer found five alarm clocks ringing in an unattended room. Alarm clocks shut off.

6:19 a.m. Heat making excessive noise in Bascom. Officer checked. Steamfitters advised to check later in the day.

1:56 a.m. Intrusion from Taconic Golf Club House. Caused by staff having problem disarming new alarm system

9:42 a.m. Intrusion from Miller House. Caused by B&G staff.

11:47 p.m. Rodent captured by trap set in Hubble removed.

11:49 p.m. Loud crowd outside Morgan East reported. Crowd had dispersed and moved from the area.

Friday, November 6

1:05 a.m. Call for assist from Emergency Phone behind Baxter.

1:57 a.m. Intrusion from Taconic Golf Club House. Caused by custodian.

10:20 a.m. Grafitti reported on east side of Squash Courts. Documented and reported to B&G for clean-up. More grafitti of same nature reported at west side of Biology and at rear of AMT.

3:40 p.m. Heat complaint from Morgan. Temperature was in normal range.

Saturday, November 7

1:01a.m. Intrusion from Miller House. No apparent cause. Building checked and system reset.

1:15 a.m. Student in need of assist on lawn of Lehman reported. Student was okay-no action necessary.

1:30 a.m. Car parked in middle of the lane in parking lot at Thompson-not in a parking space. Investigation revealed the locked small compact car had been “lifted” out of its parking space and placed in the middle of the driving lane.

2:03 a.m. Intrusion from Taconic Golf. No apparent cause.

10:05 a.m. Report of a student in need of assist at picnic table behind Baxter Snack Bar. Student was okay.

10:18 a.m. No hot water at Agard. Bolier reset but problem with circulators suspected. Steamfitter paged.

1:44 p.m. Call to Meachem St. to meet with WPD Officer. WPD asked for announcement at Footbal game that cars illegally parked on Meachem Street will be towed.

5:20 p.m. Intrusion from Jesup. Building not locked properly.

Sunday, November 8

4:51 a.m. Fire alarm from Sage. Cause was burnt popcorn.

1:23 p.m. Noise complaint from Morgan.

1:53 p.m. No heat complaint from the Rectory. Temperature was above set level.

7:35 p.m. Leaking radiator reported in Prospect West. Steamfitters advised.
