3:52 p.m., Hollander Hall: Officers responded to a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot. The Williamstown Police were also called to respond to the situation. Names and insurance information was taken and a police report was filed.
Thursday 11-29-18
9:12 a.m., Fayerweather Hall: Officers were called to assist a student asking for crutches and transportation to the Health Center. Officers advised the student to call an ambulance to be removed from the building safely and taken to the emergency room. The student was transported to Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) North.
11:20 p.m., Spencer Art Building: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was stuck in the mud. The student called for a tow company to pull the car out.
Friday 11-30-18
8:47 a.m., Chapel Parking Lot: An officer responded to a report of an injured owl. The officer found a barred owl in the landscaped area between the stairwell side of Sawyer Library. The owl was alert and appeared injured. Dispatch contacted the Williamstown Police and the Hopkins Memorial Forest Manager. The owl eventually flew up and roosted in a nearby tree. The forest manager thought that the owl may have flown into one of the windows of the library and was stunned.
Saturday 12-01-18
1:12 p.m., Stetson Road: While patrolling campus, an officer noticed three individuals using a BB gun and soda cans as targets in Cole Field behind Thompson Lot. The director of security confiscated the gun because it was a violation of the college weapons policy.
2:54 p.m., Lab Campus Drive: Officers responded to a student who fell on the steps at the gate to West College during the Holiday Walk and Reindog Parade. 911 activated Northern Berkshire Emergency Medical Services (EMS), who then transported the student.
11:08 p.m., Currier Hall: Officers activated 911 for a heavily intoxicated student in need of medical attention. Northern Berkshire EMS evaluated and transported the student to BMC North.
Sunday 12-2-18
12:28 a.m., Bryant House: Officers responded to an intoxicated student in need of medical care. 911 was activated and the student was transported to the hospital by Northern Berkshire EMS.
12:58 a.m., Sage Hall: Officers responded to an intoxicated student. Northern Berkshire EMS arrived and transported them to BMC North.
2:24 a.m., Woodbridge House: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated student. The officers activated 911. Northern Berkshire EMS and Williamstown Police also responded to the intoxicated student.
10:43 a.m., Parsons House: Officers responded to an anonymous report of a possible issue involving domestic disturbance.
