5:20 p.m. Small fire smoldering in landscaping mulch on northeast corner of Baxter. Cause determined to be from a discarded cigarette. Extinguished and periodic checks made through evening. Fire Marshall advised.
12:50 p.m. Door alarm ringing at Chandler Gym Squash Courts. Caused by contractor.
6:57 p.m. Fire system trouble alarm from Sage. Officers found someone had pulled down a detector in a student room. Detector replaced.
7:25 p.m. Water in basement of West College. No plumbing or heating problem determined to exist. Probable source is groundwater seeping into basement. B&G notified.
8:45 p.m. Power failure on campus and community-wide. Many buildings on campus were effected. Power failure protocol activated.
12:01 a.m. Dispatcher asked Officer to check a loud dragging sound in MP lot. Officers found a car stuck. Assisted in freeing vehicle.

1:25 p.m. Call to check out an unidentified car parked at the building on corner of Latham and Water Streets. WPD on scene.
6:49 p.m. Call from WPD concerning a car jumping a curb, driving on grass, and reckless driving nearly hitting a pedestrian on campus. Incident under investigation.
1:50 a.m. Fire alarm from Williams Hall. Cause was excessive cigar smoke.
2:08 a.m. Noise complaint from Bryant. Source was located and noise level was turned down.
1:52 p.m. Water leak in Chemistry Computer Lab reported. An apparent roof leak was determined to be cause. Carpenter on-call was paged. Computer Center staff called concerning computers and Electrician paged concerning possible electrical problems with water in ceiling and fixtures.

9:15 p.m. Stranger in West College reported. Person was identified and was confirmed as a guest of a student resident of West.
12:30 a.m. Call to Tyler concerning parking violation endangering safe access and evacuation.
2:37 a.m. Fire alarm from Brooks. Cause determined to be from a discharged fire extinguisher.
2:37 a.m. Assist a student found outside B&G Service building to the Health Center.
2:53 a.m. Noise complaint from Greylock Quad. Source was determined to be music from Bryant 1st floor. Residents advised.
3:30 a.m. Bench outside Sage B was ripped up and placed on a motor vehicle.
3:30 a.m. Intoxicated non-Williams student found sitting on curb by Mission Park. Assisted individual to his student host.
3:55 a.m. Noise complaint from Bryant. Residents again advised and music was turned down.
11:55 a.m. Fire alarm from Chandler Gym. Detector activated. No apparent cause. System reset.
12:43 p.m. Plumbing problem in Greylock Dining Hall. Plumber paged.
