Relief.
The first wave crashed,
and I found myself underwater
unable to breath.
Unable to move.
I finally emerge,
gasping for breath,
a moment of peace.
But I see the next wave coming
and it’s grander than the last.
Relief is only temporary
when the tide keeps coming.
When will it go?
