Football celebrates 50th anniversary of Walk tradition

The College commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Walk after the Ephs’ win at the Nov. 6 Homecoming football game. To celebrate the tradition’s semicentennial, alums who originated the Walk in 1971 reunited on campus to watch the game played against Wesleyan and participate in the post-game Walk.

The Williams Octet performed the national anthem on the big screen at Yankee Stadium in Sept. 22. While they performed virtually this year, they have performed live at a Yankees home game nearly every year since 2017.
