College begins demolition of Towne Field House, slates temporary facility for 2025 construction

The College began its long-awaited demolition of Towne Field House on Nov. 6, following the discovery of a deteriorating structural beam and the building’s subsequent indefinite closure in March. To replace its functionality, the College will construct the Multipurpose Recreation Center (MRC), a temporary facility that will house indoor athletic practices, intramural sports, and other recreational activities.

Women’s soccer comes back in NESCAC Quarterfinals to beat Hamilton in penalties

With their continued runs into the NESCAC tournament on the line, both teams battled during all 90 minutes of regular-time and 20 minutes of overtime. The Ephs won on penalty kicks, advancing to NESCAC Semifinals.

Men’s soccer falls 0-2 to Middlebury in NESCAC Quarterfinals, awaits news on potential NCAA tournament bid

The match was the second time the teams had faced each other in five days, following both teams’ final regular season game on Tuesday last week, where the game ended in a 0-1 loss for the Ephs that was decided only by a contested penalty kick.

Men’s crew starts season strong at Head of the Charles, 1v brings home 4th place medal

Field hockey contends with fierce schedule, improves season record to 7-4

Last weekend, nationally ranked No. 9 field hockey (7-4, 4-2 NESCAC) split its two games, earning a hard fought 3-1 victory over No. 19 Wesleyan (8-5, 4-4 NESCAC) on Saturday before falling on Sunday by a score of 2-1 in an overtime loss to No. 7 Tufts (10-3, 7-1 NESCAC). After their win over Wesleyan and against No. 14 Amherst (7-5, 4-4 NESCAC) on Sept. 30, the Ephs have clinched this year’s Little 3 Title.

Volleyball defeats Endicott College to break three-game loss streak
