Tucked away in North Adams, Trail House seems fairly nondescript from the outside with its cottage-esque exterior. But upon entering, I was greeted by fairy lights, Christmas decorations and the sound of laughter.
From the moment I sat across from Donna Cuzzone, I felt at home. She began our conversation with some self-deprecating humor about how she had spilled her coffee right before the interview, and I felt myself relaxing considerably at the sound of her laugh.
I turn around and see a familiar face. I know they’re in my entry, but for the life of me, I can’t muster up a name.
