Brian Grodecki ’18
Men’s tennis
Wayne, PA.

“Against Middlebury, Brian saved two match points to defeat the defending national singles champion, after being down 5-2 in the third set. It was one of the best matches I’ve ever seen played at Williams. It’s awesome to see all of BG’s hard work coming together his senior year as he becomes one of the best players in the country.”

– Head coach Dan Greenberg 08

Grodecki  went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles  in his matches, helping the men defeat Middlebury and Wesleyan.

Mackenzie Murphy ’19
Diablo, Calif.

“After having to sit out for almost a week during our spring trip with an injury, Mackenzie has been a consistent performer all year. Unnoticed is her strong fielding on the mound and at first base and the confidence she gives her team when she’s pitching.  we look forward to the rest of our important NESCAC season.”

Head coach Kris Herman

Murphy won two games over the weekend to improve her record to 7-0. She also contributed offensively with seven hits in nine at-bats.
