Alison Lu ’20
Palo Alto, Calif.
“Alison is a dynamic finisher. She’s a natural in front of the goal because she is so good with the ball at her feet. Once the goalkeeper commits, she makes her decision and finishes. She is one of the fiercest competitors I’ve had the pleasure to coach. ”
-Head coach Michelyne Pinard
Lu produced the championship-clinching goal five minutes into overtime in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Tufts. The forward also scored in Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Amherst, and she leads the team in goals (nine) and points (22).
William McGovern ’20

“Will is a dedicated trainer and a fine endurance athlete. The 10k is his favorite distance. He went out at an excellent pace, pushed through the middle miles and finished with a flourish to lead our team [at USATF New Englands].”
–Head coach Peter Farwell ’73
McGovern was the first Eph finisher on Sunday at the USA Track & Field (USATF) New England Championships. In the 10k, he placed 33rd overall in 32:54, taking 15 seconds off his time from the previous year.
