CSS releases security and safety report

On Sept. 30, Campus Safety and Security (CSS) released its Annual Security and Fire Safety Report on its website, as mandated by federal law. The report includes statistics on crime and fires from 2013 to 2015 at the College and its satellites.

From 2014 to 2015, alcohol violations rose from 77 to 119, while drug violations fell from 59 to 54 and weapons violations fell from two to zero. In 2015. Williamstown Police Department (WPD) made no arrests in these areas and there were also no fires on campus. In 2015, there were five hate crimes reported to CSS and WPD, four of which were intimidation related to race, while one was vandalism related to race.

There were no crimes or violations at the Williams-Exeter Programme at Oxford, nor at the Williams Mystic Program over the past three years.
