Emma Harrington ’15

“Emma had a tremendous week marked by three strong games at the NESCAC Championship. She pitched out of tough spots in every game and had the back of her teammates throughout. She also broke the Williams all-time wins record with her 50th win on Saturday vs. Middlebury. ”

Harrington’s prowess on the pitching mound was recognized this past weekend at the 2015 NESCAC Tournament. Harrington pitched all three games, and on Saturday became the all-time winningest pitcher in Williams history. The 6-3 victory against Middlebury was the 50th of her career, surpassing the record of 49 held by Katherine Baldwin ’03. Harrington faced 35 batters over the cousre of the weekend, striking out 12 of them.
Luke Pierce ’15

Pierce ended his baseball career on a high note last weekend in his final collegiate game against Springfield. Pierce, a stalwart member of both the Ephs offense and defense, smashed a three-run homer and a solo homer to propel the Ephs to a 9-1 win over their opponent. In his last six games as an Eph, Pierce tallied eight hits and seven RBIs. He totaled five home runs over the course of the season.
