Requiring accountability

I understand the Williams administration cannot publicly discuss the details of Lexie Brackenridge’s sexual assault case. I fail to see why they cannot contact Lexie directly to learn how she thinks the college could have handled her case more effectively, compassionately, and fairly. When I have been informed by Lexie or her family that Williams has implemented changes to their sexual assault policies and procedures that make a repeat of Lexie’s experience either unlikely or impossible, then I will resume attending reunions, resume my financial support, and resume thinking of Williams in a positive light.
