Shannon Campbell ’14
“The best part about Shannon’s performance was that she was incredibly sick this weekend. She takes ownership of her skill and has become an impressive skier. She always follows through on her execution.” – Assistant Coach Kelsey Levine
Campbell continued her domination as one of the best alpine skiers last weekend with two top-10 finishes. Racing on Friday in Dartmouth, Campbell had a combined time of 2:07.99 in the GS, finishing in sixth place. On Saturday, Campbell
picked up right where she left off, finishing her slalom race with a time of 1:47.41 to place sixth for the second day in a row. The two top-ten finishes marked a streak of four consecutive for Campbell. She now has seven top eight finishes on the season and is ranked fourth in the GS and ranked seventh in the slalom.
Taylor Foehl ’14
“Taylor has been playing great all season. He has been our leader on and off the court and has really stepped up his level of play. Winning the individual event has been another strong showing for him.” – Head Coach Zafi Levy
Foehl defeated fellow teammate Kevin Chen ’16 to win the inaugural Div. III Individual Championships at Bowdoin last weekend. Foehl defeated the No. 1 players from both Amherst and Wesleyan, both of whom he had lost to in the regular season, on his way to a Williams dominated final match. He defeated Chen 13-11, 11-8, and 11-5 to capture the title. Foehl has consistently been in the top three spots for the men’s team this year and has contributed to solid wins throughout the season.
