Who’s your pro athlete crush?

I’ve loved Jacoby Ellsbury ever since he was traded to the Red Sox.

What’s your favorite jam to listen to at the gym?

Sirens by Skizzy Mars. It’s also always the last song I listen to before warming up on game day.

What is your least favorite school to play at?

One year we played at Keene State and were basically eaten alive by mosquitos – the entire time. Emily Pavlini ’14 still has nightmares about it.

What’s your pregame ritual?

All of my pregame rituals are kind of weird. Like I said, there are certain songs that I have to listen to. I also put a lot of time into what color headband I wear for which game. But our team always has snacks the night before a game, which gets us all loose and excited. There is always a lot of energy in the locker room on game day, which often means a spontaneous and amazing dance party.

What is the team tradition you value most?

We sing “Yard by Yard” at the end of practice when it’s the day before a game. Moments like that remind me of how much I love my team. We never really teach everyone the words so it’s always funny to see freshmen slowly catch on as the season progresses.

What is the most attractive team at Williams?

The field hockey team. Duh!

What’s your favorite snack before a game?

I usually drink coffee right before I play … Is that bad?
