Spring Street Blues, 3-7-13 and 3-9-13

Thursday 3-7-13

8:35 p.m., Lasell: Two students came to the Security office in Hopkins Hall basement to report stolen articles from the women’s locker room in Lassell. One had her wallet taken. The other reported a stolen pair of earrings. Stolen article reports were completed and faxed to the Williamstown Police Department.

Saturday 3-9-13

2:15 p.m., ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance: Security received a call that an elderly gentleman had fallen in the main lobby of the theatre. A theater staff member was tending to the individual. The man had tripped on the tile floor and three fingers on his left hand were cut. The man wanted to go to the recital in the theater.

3:17 p.m., Sage: A fire alarm went off. The smoke detector had been activated by burnt food in the microwave. The area was ventilated, and the system reset.

9:10 p.m., Lasell: Officers responded to a report by the athletic facility monitor, of a problem with someone in the gym.

10:25 p.m., Sage: Officers arrived on the scene and broke up “Beirut” activity.

10:30 p.m., Williams Hall: 11 students in the B-entry basement common room were found playing beer pong. Three more students were found on the second floor playing beirut. All were under 21 years of age.

11:03 p.m., Carter: Security received a noise complaint. As Officers arrived, approximately 12 students were dispersing after a small gathering. They were cooperative and cleaned the area.
