1:15 a.m. Call to Hubbell concerning a part of the ceiling falling down.

11:10 a.m. Large tree on Tyler Drive split at the base. Reported to horticulturist.

3:30 p.m. Call to Fitness Center concerning money turned in. Owner was identified and returned.

5:41 p.m. Call to Morgan concerning a strange odor. Source was determined to be from the laundry room.

7:01 p.m. Strange odor reported in West College. Caused by cooking.

Tuesday 11-30-99

3:00 p.m. Call to Carter concerning disturbance.

Wednesday 12-1-99

12:15 a.m. Noise complaint from Fielding-Brown House.

Thursday 12-2-99

12:16 a.m. Intrusion alarm from the President’s House. Officers checked with the President and all was okay. System reset.

2:00 p.m. Call to Physical Therapist’s office on Adams Rd. concerning a student’s loss/theft of a coat. WPD called. Under investigation.

2:30 p.m. Student reports a possible phone scam going through the first-year quad. Caller offers free gift certificates for information concerning shoes. Questions are suspicious in nature and caller asks for names and numbers of others.

11:51 p.m. Fire alarm from Williams. Caused by smoking.

Friday 12-3-99

2:01 a.m. Loud music complaint from Dodd. Source was found and turned down.

3:01 a.m. Noise complaint concerning yelling from behind Tyler. Officers identified cause.

1:29 p.m. Fire alarm from Dodd House. Cause was a contractor using a blowtorch.

6:30 p.m. Call to Computer Center concerning an accident involving a college vehicle.

Saturday 12-4-99

1:29 a.m. Noise complaint from Prospect. Students involved in loud conversation and music advised of complaint.

6:07 a.m. Disturbance call to Brooks. Under investigation.

12:32 p.m. Resident of Latham St. complains of buses with engines running on Latham St.

11:45 p.m. Call to Baxter Snack Bar concerning students drinking beer. Students were not aware that beer is prohibited in this area.

Sunday 12-5-99

12:19 a.m. Fire alarm from Bascom. Caused by burnt popcorn.

3:05 a.m. A mysterious Christmas tree appeared in Morgan East hallway. Officer determined the tree belonged on Spring St and returned to its proper location.

6:00 a.m. Noise complaint from Lehman. Loud music turned down.

10:30 p.m. Noise/disturbance in Science Quad. Officers found students had taken several of the ergonomic chairs (value $600-$900) from Bronfman and were racing them down sidewalks.
