Deans should be appreciated

To the Editor:

I am writing to encourage all those who partake in the deans’ surprise food delivery during finals week at Goodrich Student Center to send an e-mail or a letter to the deans to show your appreciation. Many had told me what a great thing it was that the deans were doing. It would be nice for them to know that and be acknowledged for it. Let them know so that they will continue this tradition of “rewarding” the students and doing something nice to alleviate the stress students may feel during finals period.

I thought that it was amazing that the deans were so caring about the students. My friends at home were surprised that my deans (unlike theirs) were doing something so nice for students and that it is not anything administrative. Then again, close relationships among faculty and administration is something that Williams is proud of and that sets us apart from many other schools.
