Ken and Michele’s Corner

Record: Where’d you get the name for “Where’d You Get That?”

Michele: We gave crazy gifts and people always asked us where we got that. It’s become a great joke. Many people tried to discourage us from using it, but it’s worked out well. Tourists love it. We’ve service marketed it nationally.

Record: What were your previous occupations?

Ken: I was a chemical manufacturer.

Michele: I worked for Information Systems Executive Search.

Record: Is there any truth to the rumor that Mrs. Payne bought her husband an “Old Timer Crossing” sign?

Michele: Yes. Probably so. He’s received a few items from here.

Record: What’s the one item no Williams student should be without?

Ken: There is such diversified taste on campus that there isn’t just one item.

Michele: Our bungee-jumping purple cow is a staple for any dorm room.

Ken: One book we just received is titled How to Make Your Man Behave in 21 Days or Less Using the Secrets of Professional Dog Trainers. I think it’ll be a big seller.

Michele: Did we mention we make balloon and gift deliveries to college dorms?

Ken: We’ve also got an ever-expanding candy section.

Michele: Yeah. We’re the gummi capital of Williamstown.

Record: Are there any exciting items coming soon?

Michele: We’ve ordered remote-controlled whoopee cushions. Just think of the possibilities.
